Sarah Zaman is regarded as one of the foremost vocalists in Pakistani classical music, with remarkable skill in Khayal, Kafi, Thumri, and Ghazal. Her voice is not only beautiful but also supported by an exceptional memory and sharp intellect. Her vocal artistry has often been compared to the legendary qualities of Pandits, reflecting her mastery and dedication to the craft.

She received her music education from Ustad Feroze Nizami, Ustad Sufi Khuda Baksh, Ustad Chotay Ghulam Ali Khan, and Ustad Baba M. Tufail Narowali. She currently resides in Lahore, Pakistan.
